Bacopa Caroliniana, also referred to as Giant Bacopa, originates from Central America. It produces small, about 1 inch, olive green oval leaves that will contrast well with most other leaf shapes. This plant looks its best when planted in groups. Bacopa's moderate growth makes it an excellent plant for background, midground as well as foreground placement. This plant is very undemanding and one of the favorites in the aquascaping world. Provided with good lighting, substrate and some fertilization, this plant will grow very well in many different aquarium conditions.
